This book was a light, pleasing fantasy romp through a simple, magical world.
A young adult fantasy, it is a quick read but not without enjoyment. I could see enjoying it more as a young teen. The main character Aurora is a naive young girl with hidden powers. There's some action, some romance, some mystery.
Overall it was an enjoyable read and I could see reading more tales set in this world. It was a very light read, with no really challenging concepts, but a fun read nonetheless.
